DIRECTOR SPIRITUAL CARE

We are seeking a Director of Spiritual Care to administer, direct and coordinate religious and pastoral functions in the Medical Center, providing our staff, patients, families and visitors with supportive counseling and spiritual comfort.  This position serves as a liaison with the community and religious leaders and is responsible for directing the Clinical Pastoral Education program.  The Director also oversees the work of the entire Spiritual Care Department including employees, students, associates and volunteers. 
 
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited seminary or theological school and ordained/endorsed as clergy by the denomination/faith group to which s/he belongs.  At least 2 years pastoral care experience needed.  Certification by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education as a full supervisor is required with at least 2 years experience conducting clinical pastoral education.
